Giants Sign DTs Davon Coleman & Jermelle Cudjo, Cut Two

The New York Giants announced that they’ve signed DT Davon Coleman and DT Jermelle Cudjo to contracts on Friday and placed WR Donte Foster and DT Melvin Lewis on waivers.

Coleman, 25, wound up signing on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State back in May of last year. He later re-signed with the Cowboys in February of last year, but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

Coleman caught on with the Bears towards the end of the years, but later signed a future/reserve contract with the Buccaneers in February. Unfortunately, Tampa Bay placed him on waivers a few weeks after this year’s draft.

In 2015, Coleman appeared in two games, but did not record a single statistic.
