Giants Officially Sign Former XFL DB Dravon Askew-Henry

Update:

The New York Giants officially signed former XFL DB Dravon Askew-Henry to a two-year deal on Saturday, according to his agent.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Giants have signed former XFL DB Dravon Askew-Henry to a two-year deal.

Askew-Henry, who is former CB Darrelle Revis‘ cousin, played for the New York Guardians this spring and will compete for playing time as a nickelback for the Giants.

Askew-Henry, 24, signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia in 2019. He was waived coming out of the preseason during final roster cuts.

The XFL’s Guardians drafted Askew-Henry in October as a part of the new league’s expansion draft.

In 2020, Askew-Henry appeared in five games for the Guardians and recorded 11 tackles and six pass defenses.

During his four-year college career, Askew-Henry recorded 170 total tackles, four interceptions and 12 pass defenses in 38 career games.
