According to Dan Graziano, the Giants have signed LB Kelvin Sheppard to their active roster.
Sheppard, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Bills back in 2011. He lasted over two years in Buffalo before he was traded to the Colts in return for DE Jerry Hughes.
Sheppard lasted just over a year in Indianapolis before he waived at the start of the 2014 season and later signed by the Dolphins. The Giants signed him to a contract last year and signed with the Bears as an unrestricted free agent back in August.
In 2016, Sheppard appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and recorded 50 tackles, no sacks, and two pass defenses.
