Giants Signing OT Brian Mihalik To Practice Squad, Release

The New York Giants have signed OL Brian Mihalik to their practice squad on Thursday, according to Art Stapleton.

Dan Duggan adds that the Giants are releasing LB Calvin Munson from the unit to make room for Mihalik.

The Giants practice squad now consists of:

  1. CB Grant Haley
  2. TE Garrett Dickerson
  3. OLB Avery Moss
  4. WR Alonzo Russell
  5. WR Jawill Davis
  6. RB Jhurell Pressley
  7. OT Victor Salako
  8. LB Ukeme Eligwe
  9. RB Robert Martin
  10. OL Brian Mihalik

Mihalik, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Eagles back in 2015. He was unable to make their 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but later signed on to the Eagles’ practice squad.

Mihalik had brief stints with the Steelers and Lions before he was claimed off of waivers by Detroit last year. The Lions elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

In 2017, Mihalik appeared in 15 games for the Lions.
