Greg Jennings Still Hoping To Play Tonight

Packers WR Greg Jennings is still holding out hope that he will be able to suit up tonight as they host the Bears, per ESPN’s Rachel Nichols.

Jenning’s did not practice on Wednesday, but did get in some side work by running a few drills. He will likely test his groin out tonight prior to kickoff.

With the Packers immense depth at WR, it would seem likely that the Packers would opt to hold Jennings out of the game to avoid the risk of injuring his groin even more.

According to Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Packers WR Greg Jennings is officially listed as doubtful on the Packers injury report.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, he’s received word that Packers WR Greg Jennings is doubtful for tomorrow’s game against the Bears.

Jennings suffered a groin injury towards the end of Sunday’s game, but it was believed that Jennings did have a chance to play. Head coach Mike McCarthy mentioned that today’s practice would ultimately determine his availability.

If Jennings is out, not only can expect to see Donald Driver on the field for more than 3 snaps, but James Jones and Randall Cobb figure to have big roles in Thursday’s game.
