Greg Jones Retiring As A Member Of The Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced that they are holding a press conference to announce that veteran FB Greg Jones will retire as a member of the team on Thursday, per Michael DiRocco.

Jones, 33, was take in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Jaguars. He spent the first eight years of his career in Jacksonville before he signed on with the Texans as unrestricted free agent in March of 2013.

Since then, Jones has bounced around with the Titans, Texans and Saints.

Over the course of 11 seasons, Jones ran for 913 yards on 272 carries (3.4 YPC) and added 73 receptions for 471 yards receiving to go along with 13 total touchdowns.
