Jaguars A “Viable Landing Spot” For Tim Tebow?

ESPN’s Adam Schefter mentioned on Wednesday’s NFL Live that the Jacksonville Jaguars are “a viable landing spot” for Tim Tebow, per Evan Silva.

Jaguars owner Shad Khan reportedly wanted to acquire Tebow back in March, but the team’s front office apparently felt different about the idea.

Now that several reports have mentioned that Tebow is not willing to sit behind Greg McElroy as the team’s backup for the remainder of the season, it at least makes some sense that they would consider cutting him loose seeing as they would only incur a “minimal” cap hit for doing so, according to Manish Mehta.

The Rams were mentioned as another possibility due to their reported interest in Tebow last year, but it’s worth not that they had Josh McDaniels at that point in time. McDaniels took Tebow in the first-round some years ago, so it makes sense that would view him as a salvageable talent, even if the general consensus is otherwise.
