Jaguars HC Doug Marrone announced that the team has activated WR Marqise Lee from their Physically Unable to Perform list, per Phillip Heilman.
Lee, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $5,174,016 contract before agreeing to a four-year, $38 million contract with $18 million guaranteed last year.
Unfortunately, Lee suffered a season-ending knee injury last year and spent the 2018 season on injured reserve. Jacksonville placed him on the PUP list last month.
In 2017, Lee appeared in 15 games and caught 56 passes for 702 yards receiving and three touchdowns for the Jaguars. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 30 receiver out of 115 qualifying players that season.
