Jaguars DE/OLB Lerentee McCray Opting Out Of 2020 Season

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that DE/OLB Lerentee McCray is opting out of the 2020 season.

McCray, 29, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2013. He spent the past three years in Denver before signing a one-year, $800,000 contract with the Packers in 2016.

Green Bay later traded McCray to the Bills for a seventh-round pick in 2018. McCray wound up signing a one-year, $1 million contract with the Jaguars in 2018 and re-signed to another one-year, $1 million contract this offseason.

In 2019, McCray appeared in nine games for the Jaguars and recorded four tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
