The Jacksonville Jaguars have designated LB Quincy Williams to return from injured reserve on Wednesday, per John Reid.
This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Jaguars to activate him and add him to their 53-man roster.
Williams dealt with knee and hand injuries last year as a rookie, the latter which landed him on injured reserve.
The Jaguars placed him on injured reserve with a core muscle injury a few weeks ago.
Williams, 24, was the No. 98 overall pick by the Jaguars out of Murray State. He’s entering the second year of a four-year, $3,342,172 rookie contract that included an $822,172 signing bonus.
In 2019, Williams appeared in 11 games for the Jaguars and recorded 48 total tackles.
