Jaguars Release DT Sen’Derrick Marks

The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced the release of DT Sen’Derrick Marks on Thursday.

Marks, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Titans back in 2009. He spent four years in Tennessee before signing a five-year, $19.5 million contract with the Jaguars back in 2013 that included $8 million guaranteed.

Marks was set to make a base salary of $3.45 million to go along with a $1 million roster bonus that’s due on March 13.

In 2016, Marks appeared in all 16 games for the Jaguars and recorded 22 tackles, 3.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 89 interior defender out of 127 qualifying players.
