According to Howard Balzer, the Jaguars brought in four players for tryouts in recent days including RB Jeremy McNichols.
The full list of tryouts for Jacksonville includes:
- WR Terry Godwin
- WR Ishmael Hyman
- RB Jeremy McNichols
- P Brock Miller
McNichols, 23, is a former fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2017. He signed a four-year contract worth $2,663,788 with Tampa Bay but was, unfortunately, cut loose a few months later.
McNichols later signed on to the 49ers’ practice squad and was eventually promoted to their active roster. However, he was once again cut loose coming out of the preseason last year and had a brief stint with the Colts before the Broncos added him to their taxi squad in October.
The Titans later signed McNichols to their active roster before releasing him as they cut their roster down to 53 players last week.
During his college career at Boise State, McNichols rushed for 3,205 yards on 571 carries (5.6 YPC) to go along with 103 receptions for 1,089 yards receiving and 55 total touchdowns over the course of three seasons and 34 games.
