Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey mentioned that he still doesn’t know whether or not RB Maurice Jones-Drew will be able to return from his foot injury and play next weekend, via the Florida Times Union.

“Right now, as we sit, it’s Montell [Owens] and Richard Murphy,” said Mularkey.

Jones-Drew has missed 5 games because his foot injury, but hasn’t been able to practice in recent, which seems like a pretty decent indication that he’s still not ready to return. This doesn’t change the fact that Jacksonville could really use some help at the position seeing as they’ve already placed Jalen Parmele on season-ending injured reserve and Rashad Jennings suffered a recent concussion.
