Jaguars Roster Cuts Including QB Stephen Morris

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced the release of several players on Friday, as they trim their roster down to 53 players by Saturday.

The Jaguars have placed the following players on waivers:

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Jaguars placed QB Stephen Morris on waivers Friday.

Morris, 24, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as a priority undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May of last year. He was unable to make the roster last year and later signed on to their practice squad.

In two preseason games, Morris has throw for 198 while completing 57 percent of his passes to go along with one touchdown.
