Jaguars Waived WR Max McCaffrey

According to Ryan O’Halloran, the Jaguars have waived WR Max McCaffrey in a corresponding roster move to promoting WR Jaydon Mickens.

McCaffrey, 23, wound up signing on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Duke back in May of last year. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Raiders before he was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason last season.

The Packers later signed him to their practice squad toward the end of the season but he was among their final roster cuts last offseason. He signed on to the Saints practice squad soon after.

Jacksonville signed McCaffrey off the Saints’ practice squad last month.

McCaffrey has yet to appear in an NFL game.
