The Jacksonville Jaguars brought in seven free agents for tryouts on Monday, according to Howard Balzer.
The full list includes:
- WRs C.J. Board (signed to practice squad)
- WR Jordan Veasy
- LB Farrington Huguenin
- LB Antwione Williams
- DE Alec James
- TE Marcus Lucas
- TE Troy Mangen
Williams, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Lions back in 2016. He spent just over a year in Detroit before he was waived coming out of the preseason last year.
Williams had a brief stint on the Vikings’ practice squad before joining the Seahawks’ taxi squad at the start of the 2018 season. Unfortunately, Seattle released him a few days later.
In 2016, Williams appeared in 14 games for the Lions and recorded 26 tackles, no sacks and a fumble recovery.
Lucas, 26, wound up signing on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri back in back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in Carolina before he was waived at the start of the 2015 season.
Since then, Lucas has played for a number of teams including the Dolphins, Bears, Seahawks, Colts, Raiders and Lions.
Lucas has yet to appear in an NFL game.
