According to Howard Balzer, the Jacksonville Jaguars brought in free agent TE Troy Niklas for a workout this week.
Niklas, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $4,023,298 contract and made a base salary of $968,631 for the 2017 season.
Niklas tested the open market for the first time as an unrestricted free agent and signed with the Patriots to a one-year deal back in April but was cut loose after a few months.
In 2017, Niklas appeared in 15 games for the Cardinals and caught 11 passes for 132 yards receiving and one touchdown.
