Jay Cutler Cleared To Play Against The Lions

Chicago Bears HC Marc Trestman announced on Thursday that Jay Cutler has been cleared to play against the Lions on Sunday.

Cutler is expected to start Sunday’s game, despite the fact that he was given an initial timetable of 4-6 weeks after he suffered a groin tear against Washington. Josh McCown has looked great in Cutler’s absence, so they must be convinced that he is very close to 100 percent.

Chicago and Detroit are playing for the division lead this weekend, so this figures to be one of the more exciting match ups to watch on Sunday.
