Rick Stroud reports that the Buccaneers are bracing to lose WR Adam Humphries in free agency.
According to Stroud, the Jets are a “big suitor” for Humphries, who could secure between $9 million to $10 million per year.
Humphries, 25, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back in 2015. He was on and off of the Bucs’ practice squad during his rookie season and returned to the Tampa Bay on a one-year restricted deal last year.
Humphries is now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2018, Humphries appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and caught 76 passes for 816 yards receiving and five touchdowns.
We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2019 NFL Free Agents list.
