Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Jets are bringing in free agent LB Neville Hewitt for a visit on Tuesday.
This is the first reported interest in Hewitt since the free agent market officially opened.
Hewitt, 24, signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall back in May of 2015. He was in the final year of a three-year, $1.576 million contract and set to earn a base salary of $615,000 for the 2017 season when he was waived by Miami coming out of the preseason.
The Dolphins later added him to their practice squad before calling him up in November.
In 2017, Hewitt appeared in six games for the Dolphins and recorded one tackle and no sacks.
