Jets Place CB Trumaine Johnson & WR Josh Bellamy On Injured Reserve

The New York Jets announced Tuesday that they’ve placed WR Josh Bellamy and CB Trumaine Johnson on injured reserve.

Johnson, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Rams back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the Rams before being franchised in back-to-back seasons.

From there, Johnson agreed to a five-year, $72.5 million contract with $34 million fully guaranteed back in 2018.

In 2019, Johnson appeared in seven games for the Jets and recorded 25 tackles, one interception and two pass defenses.
