Jets Place OLB Jeremiah Attaochu On IR, Promote LB Anthony Wint

The New York Jets announced that they have officially placed OLB Jeremiah Attaochu on injured reserve due to a concussion and promoted LB Anthony Wint from their practice squad in a corresponding roster move.

Attaochu, 25, is a former second-round pick by the Chargers in the 2014 NFL Draft. He finished his four-year rookie contract and tested the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career this offseason.

The 49ers signed him to a one-year, $3 million contract in March, but he was among their final roster cuts. The Jets quickly brought him in for a visit and signed him in September.

In 2018, Attaochu appeared in 11 games for the Jets and recorded nine total tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble.
