New York brought Powell in for a workout on Friday, so it appears as though everything checked out with his neck.
Ian Rapoport reported last month that Powell has been fully cleared from the neck injury.
Powell, 30, is a former fourth-round pick of the Jets back in 2011. He played out the final year of his rookie contract before agreeing to a three-year, $11.25 million deal that included $6 million guaranteed with the Jets.
Powell made a base salary of $4 million for the 2018 season and is currently an unrestricted free agent.
In 2018, Powell appeared in seven games for the Jets and rushed for 343 yards on 80 carries (4.3 YPC) to go along with 11 receptions for 110 yards receiving and one touchdown.
We had him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
