Kimberly A. Martin reports that the Jets are re-signing DT Leger Douzable to a one-year contract.

Douzable, 28, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of UCF back in 2008. Since then, he has played for a number of teams including the Giants, Rams, Lions, Jaguars, and Titans before joining the Jets as an unrestricted free agent in March of last year.

In 2014, Douzable appeared in all 16 games for the Jets and recorded 25 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 23 defensive end in a 3-4 defense out of 47 qualifying players, due in large part to a solid rating as a run-defender.
