Jets Sign LBs Frankie Luvu & Anthony Wint, Cut Two

The New York Jets announced Sunday that they’ve signed linebackers Frankie Luvu and Anthony Wint to contracts and waived CB Reggie Hall and DT Lord Hyeamang.

Luvu wound up going undrafted out of Washington State last week before securing a tryout with the Jets.

During his four-year college career at Washington State, Luvu recorded 110 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, eight sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.

Wint went undrafted free agent out of Florida International last week, but managed to land a tryout with the Jets during their rookie minicamp.

During his college career at FIU, Wint recorded 336 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss, six pass defenses and three forced fumbles over the course of 45 games.
