Ian Rapoport reports that the Jets are signing LB Stephone Anthony to a contract on Tuesday.
- The Jets waived S Santos Ramirez in a corresponding roster move.
Anthony, 26, is a former first-round pick out of Clemson by the Saints in the 2015 NFL Draft. The Dolphins acquired him from the Saints in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2017.
The Dolphins declined to pick up Anthony’s fifth-year option last year and he played out the final year of his four-year, $7.731 million rookie contract. The Falcons signed him in July but released him after a month.
In 2018, Anthony appeared in all 16 games for the Dolphins and recorded four tackles.
