The New York Jets have waived RB/KR Raheem Mostert from their practice squad on Monday, according to his agent Brett Tessler.

Kimberly A. Martin reports that the Jets are signing OLB Victor Ochi to their practice squad to replace Mostert.

Mostert, 24, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue back in May. However, he was unfortunately among the Eagles’ final roster cuts.

Moster later caught on with the Dolphins and Ravens in brief stints before he was placed on waivers and later claimed by the Browns back in December of last year.

The Browns brought him back on a one-year, exclusive rights deal before cutting him loose a few weeks ago. The Jets signed him to the unit last week.

In 2015, Mostert appeared in 11 games for the Ravens and Browns totaled 530 kick return yards.

Ochi, 22, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of stony Brook back in May. He was unfortunately cut loose coming out of the preseason, as the Ravens’ trimmed their roster down to 53 players.

During his career at Stony Brook, Ochi recorded 135 tackles, 19.5 sacks, 34 tackles for a loss and three forced fumbles over the course of 35 games played.
