Kerry Collins Or Curtis Painter?

During Sunday nights game against Pittsburgh, Colts QB Kerry Collins left the game with “concussion like symptoms” and was replaced by Curtis Painter who lead them down the field on a scoring drive that tied the game.

Colts head coach Jim Caldwell said that he wouldn’t know Collins status for week 4 until further evaluations were done. Caldwell did say that the team will “look at all the other factors involved” when determining the teams starting quarterback for their game against the Buccaneers.

If Collins can’t go, the Colts would need to find a backup quarterback in case something were to happen to Painter. As of now they have  Mike Hartline on their practice squad but they may be looking at free agent options throughout the week.
