The Baltimore Ravens got some good news regarding injured WR Lee Evans as he returned to practice Wednesday after missing a number of weeks because of an injured ankle.
Earlier in the week Evans mentioned that wasn’t sure if he would be able to play this week but his return to the practice field suggests that there is at the very least a shot.
Rookie WR Torrey Smith stepped up big for the Ravens a few weeks ago but the return of Evans figures to cut into his playing time. Evans looked to be a solid deep threat for Baltimore during the preseason so he should provide additional help to Joe Flacco and the teams passing attack.
