Lions Re-Sign S Tavon Wilson To Two-Year, $7M Deal

Adam Schefter reports that the Lions have re-signed S Tavon Wilson to a two-year, $7 million contract on Tuesday.

Wilson, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Patriots back in 2012. He played out his rookie deal with New England before signing a two-year, $2.2 million contract with the Lions in 2017.

Wilson made a base salary of $900,000 for the 2017 season and was in line to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

In 2017, Wilson appeared in 10 games and recorded 55 tackles, two sacks, an interception, a forced fumble and two pass defenses.
