The Lions announced they have signed DE Will Clarke and waived OL Caleb Benenoch, per Chris Burke.
Clarke, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Bengals back in 2014. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2,820,380 contract and set to make a base salary of $700,000 when the Bengals elected to cut him loose as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
The Buccaneers later signed Clake to a contract at the start of the season and brought him back on a new contract for the 2018 season. Tampa Bay eventually released him.
In 2018, Clarke appeared in three games for the Buccaneers but hasn’t recorded a statistic.
