Lions sign OT Storm Norton To Practice Squad, Release DE Pat O’Connor

The Detroit Lions announced Wednesday that they’ve signed OT Storm Norton to their practice squad and released DE Pat O’Connor from the unit.

The Lions’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. LB Thurston Armbrister (Exception)
  2. CB Adairius Barnes
  3. WR Jace Billingsley
  4. WR Dontez Ford (Injured)
  5. C Leo Koloamatangi
  6. DE Earl Okine
  7. S Rolan Milligan
  8. TE Hakeem Valles (Exception)
  9. WR Noel Thomas
  10. OT Storm Norton

Norton, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Lions cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.

During his five-year college career at Toledo, Norton earned first-team All-MAC honors, while also being named to the AP All-Bowl Team.
