The Detroit Lions have officially signed second-round pick RB D’Andre Swift to his rookie contract on Saturday.

The Lions have now signed five of their nine draft picks to contracts:
Swift, 21, was a two-year starter at Georgia and earned first-team All-SEC honors last season. The Lions selected him with No. 35 overall pick in this year’s draft.
Swift is projected to sign a four-year, $8,538,913 rookie contract that includes a $3,770,118 signing bonus.
During his three-year career at Georgia, Swift recorded 440 rushing attempts for 2,885 yards (6.6 YPC) and 20 touchdowns to go along with 73 receptions for 666 yards (9.1 YPC) and five touchdowns.
