Lions Tried Out CB De’Vante Bausby & Prince Charles Iworah

According to Howard Balzer, the Detroit Lions brought in free agent CBs De’Vante Bausby and Prince Charles Iworah.

Bausby recently tried out for the Texan last week, but wasn’t signed to a contract after the session.

Bausby, 25, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh State back in May of 2015. He lasted just over a month in Kansas City before he waived and later signed to the Bears’ practice squad.

Chicago elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract but he was once again added to their practice squad after being among their final roster cuts. The Bears promoted him to their active roster before cutting him loose and re-signing him to their practice squad last year.

The Chiefs signed him to a contract shortly after this last year’s draft only to cut him loose at the start of the 2017 season. Bausby later signed on to the Eagles’ practice squad but was cut last week.

In 2016, Bausby appeared in three games and recorded 12 tackles and no interceptions.
