Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater Visiting With Browns & Texans This Week

Ian Rapoport reports that Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater is visiting with the Browns and will then travel to Houston to meet with the Texans later in the week.

Bridgewater has already met with the JaguarsBrowns, Buccaneers and Patriots, so it’s really not surprising to hear that he’ll meet two of the other teams in need of a quarterback.

It has been interesting to see how the perception regarding Bridgewater has changed since the college season concluded. There is a growing sense that Bridgewater could fall into second half of round one, and some have even mentioned that he may end up being the fourth quarterback to come off the board.

There are concerns about his weight and overall durability moving forward, which has led some to suggest that he could fall out of the top-ten picks and possibly into day two.

Of course, these concerns could be leaks from a team hoping to precipitant draft fall for Bridgewater, but there is a growing contingent in the media who believe Teddy will fall into later portion of round one.

We have Bridgewater going to the Browns at No. 26 overall in our recently updated 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
