ESPN’s Adam Schefter mentions that he believes Matt Hasselbeck will be under center for the Tennesseeo Titans to open the 2012 season “as long as he’s healthy and productive.”
Schefter adds thatย Hasselbeckย could start theย “whole season,” which would only give Jake Locker a shot at playing if Hasselbeck were to suffer anย injury.
The general consensus has been thatย Hasselbeck is the odds on favorite to start for the Titans, but you have to wonder whether a strong training camp would at least force them to consider playing Locker over the veteran. After all, he represents their future while Hasselbeck is nearing the end of his career.
