Maurice Jones-Drew Finally Healthy?

There has been a lot of concern regarding the health of Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew, mainly from fantasy owners, but Jones-Drew was able to practice without any pain in his knee over the weekend which is a great sign for him moving forward.

I got to practice with the team the whole time, which was awesome. No swelling. No nothing. Everything is great, and I think that is a positive step in where we need to go,” Jones-Drew said, per Vito Stellino of the Florida Times-Union. “There’s just no pain at all. I think that’s the biggest thing. No matter how tough it is or how sharp the pain is or dull the pain is, it’s pain. This year, there is no pain.”

You can still expect the Jaguars to use Jones-Drew more cautiously this season but backup RB Rashard Jennings missed practice yesterday because of “head injuries,” per Jaguars RapidReports. I have no idea what they mean by “head injuries” but it doesn’t sound to good. Anyways, it’s good that Jones-Drew finally feels healthy because they are definitely going to need him this year.
