Miami Dolphins Quarterback Situation

The Miami Dolphins won Sunday’s game against Tennessee but at a pretty high cost. Both Chad Pennington and Chad Henne will be out for the remainder of the season which leaves Tyler Thigpen as the teams only quarterback on the roster.

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that the Dolphins are looking at Tom Brandstater while Chris Mortensen added Patrick Ramsey and JaMarcus Russell to list of potential backup options.

After Chad Henne went down the Dolphins ran five straight wildcat plays with Ronnie Brown as their quarterback which may be a sign of things to come for the teams offense. Coming into Sunday’s game, speculation began circulating that the Dolphins may look to get Thigpen more work as the season progressed but now that he is their starter will have the chance to see if he can be their quarterback of the future.
