49ers
- According to Matt Barrows of The Athletic, the 49ers are looking at offensive tackles that are expected to be available late in the first round or early in the second.
- They are also eying tight ends expected to be chosen in the middle rounds, which is interesting because the 49ers donโt currently have any selections in rounds 2-4. That, according to Barrows, signals that they might trade one of their first-round picks.
- The team is also looking at a lot of defensive linemen and not just defensive tackles who could replace DT DeForest Buckner. GM John Lynch and HC Kyle Shanahan and their scouts appear to be seeking those with the ability to play multiple spots along the defensive line. Safety is also on the teamโs list of positions to watch.
- Here is the list of known video interviews, which either have taken place or are scheduled to take place for the 49ers: Washington RB Salvon Ahmed, UCLA TE Devin Asiasi, TCU DL Ross Blacklock, Kentucky WR Lynn Bowden, Washington TE Hunter Bryant, Boise State T Ezra Cleveland, Illinois RB Reggie Corbin, Arkansas S Kam Curl, California DB Ashtyn Davis, Appalachian State LB Akeem Davis-Gaither, Notre Dame S Jalen Elliott, Missouri DL Jordan Elliott, Penn State DE Yetur Gross-Matos, TCU G Cordel Iwuagwu, Houston T Josh Jones, Baylor WR Denzel Mims, Auburn S Daniel Thomas, Mississippi State WR Quez Watkins, and Michigan State DE Kenny Willekes.
Panthers
- David Newton of ESPN explores some versatile prospects in this year’s draft class who could make sense for the Panthers.
- Newton’s list includes Clemson LB/S Isaiah Simmons, Alabama DB Xavier McKinney, LSU DB Grant Delpit, LSU LB/DB JaCoby Stevens, Michigan S/LB Khaleke Hudson, Southern Illinois LB/S Jeremy Chinn, North Carolina DL Jason Strowbridge and Lenoir-Rhyne DB Kyle Dugger.
- Turron Davenport reports that West Virginia CB Keith Washington had video interviews with the Jets and Chargers. Other teams that have expressed the most interest include the Rams, Browns, Panthers, and Titans.
Seahawks
- Matt Miller mentions the Seahawks as a team that would make sense for free agent QB Jameis Winston. However, Miller adds that they haven’t been willing to pay well for a backup quarterback.

If I were Clowney And I could get 18 million from the TITANS I would go there and play like he is capable like a man possessed and show these dumb people he played hurt in the playoffs and did better than the ones who were well!! Plus he would be united with 2 or 3 more gamecock players I say forget the Seahawks they didnโt have the offense to win it last year and CLOWNEY helped win many of those close games !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
