Bears WR Allen Robinson said he feels fully recovered from his knee injury and is now getting used to running routes.

โ€œItโ€™s all about getting back acclimated, running certain routes, getting the small things in football, as far as actually football โ€” route-running, sinking my hips, stuff like that,โ€ Robinson said, via Gene Chamberlain of the Associated Press. โ€œAs far as physically, I feel fine.โ€

Packers

  • Mike Freeman of B/R says that everything he continues to hear regarding negotiations between the Packers and QB Aaron Rodgers is that a deal will be in place before the start of the regular season.
  • Freeman admits that there’s no guarantee this happens, but sources he trusts seem to think this is the most likely outcome.

Panthers

Panthers executive Steven Drummond issued a statement regarding DT Vernon Butler‘sย recent accusation that he shoved a woman while at a Texas nightclub.

We just learned of the allegations involving defensive tackle Vernon Butler and we are in the process of gathering more information,โ€ said Drummond, via Bill Voth.
