- According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the Cardinals plan to shift to a running back by committee approach with new RB Kenyan Drake taking the bulk of the touches.
- Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio points out the dilemma Arizona will have if they want to re-sign Drake after this season, as Cardinals RB David Johnson is set to make $10.2 million guaranteed in 2020.
- Florio theorizes that Arizona could give up a pick to get another team to take on Johnson’s salary.
- Johnson played seven total snaps on Sunday and didn’t receive a single carry.
Eagles
- Jimmy Kempski of the Philly Voice believes this is 37-year-old OT Jason Peters last season given since first-round rookie OT Andre Dillard has played so well while Peters has been hurt this season.
