NFC Notes: Giants, Rams, Seahawks

Giants

  • The Giants had GM Dave Gettleman, assistant GM Kevin Abrams, and West Coast scout Jeremy Breit all in attendance for Oregon’s recent game that featured QB Justin Herbert. (Art Stapleton)

Rams

  • Adam Schefter reports that the Rams requested to play in Denver the week before having to play in altitude in Mexico City. However, the NFL rejected both requests.
  • The Rams will now spend this week training at altitude in Colorado Springs and practicing at the Air Force Academy before traveling to Mexico City.

Seahawks

  • Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Seahawks owner Paul Allen, who passed away last month due to complications from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, established a plan to have the proceeds of the sale of the team go to his foundation.
  • Rapoport says that no sale is considered imminent at this time, but the expectation is that the team will ultimately be sold.
  • For the time being, Allen’s sister, Jody, has taken a more visible role in the football team.
