49ers

• Matt Maiocco reports that the 49ers “went hard after” DE Bruce Irvin before he agreed to a deal with the Falcons on Wednesday.

Rams

Rams CB Aqib Talib said on NFL Network that it “looks like” he will be able to play full speed “after Thanksgiving,” which would be Week 13.

“I had a great visit with the doctor today. It looks like the week after Thanksgiving, I’ll be full speed, ready to go,” said Talib, via Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.

• Rams signed G J.J. Dielman and LB Trevon Young to their practice squad.

Seahawks

• Seahawks HC Pete Carroll was asked if they had any interest in DE Bruce Irvin: “He wanted to go home (to Atlanta). We couldn’t do that for him.” (Curtis Crabtree)
