According to Tom Pelissero, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell sent a memo to all 32 teams Tuesday night saying all club facilities will close at 6 p.m. Wednesday with some limited exceptions.
The NFL plans to reassess the situation on April 8 with advice from experts.
Pelissero explains that some NFL teams had already closed facilities while others had very limited personnel in the building.
There was some talk about potential competitive advantages for teams that kept their facilities open, but there will now be a level playing field for all 32 teams.
Teams will still continue all normal business including signing free agents among other roster moves.
