Adam Schefter reports that the Seattle Seahawks will in fact hire Tom Cable to be their assistant head coach/offensive line coach. We mentioned that this could be a possibility earlier in the day but it appears that things began to heat up when Josh McDaniels decided to restart talks with the Rams.
Cable seems like a pretty good addition to the teams coaching staff and will likely fill the “toughest” void left by the firing of Jeremy Bates.
