NFL News: Vikings Sign Bill Musgrave

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen tweets that the Minnesota Vikings have agreed to bring in Bill Musgrave as their new offensive coordinator.

Musgrave, formally the Atlanta Falcons quarterbacks coach, will be in charge of getting production out of players not named Adrian Peterson. Priority number one for the Vikings is to figure out what direction they plan go in regards to the quarterback position. One of the problems for teams that are in need of a quarterback, is that the upcoming draft doesn’t appear to be rich with talent at the position. There are a number of options in the free agent and trade markets but the looming lockout with prevent any deals getting done until an agreement is reached. It will be interesting to see what teams elect to take a chance on drafting one of the young quarterbacks that are available.
