• Ian Rapoport reports that the 49ers will keep Christian Ponder as their third quarterback.

• Pro Football Talk could see the Broncos pursuing free agent RB Justin Forsett since he did well with HC Gary Kubiak‘s system when he was the offensive coordinator for the Ravens back in 2014.

Panthers

• The Redskins announced that WR Josh Doctson has been activated from their physically unable to perform list.
