NFL Notes: Adam Gase, Buccaneers, Cardinals, Chargers, Packers

Adam Gase

  • Mike Garafolo reports that Broncos OC Adam Gase intends to interview with all three teams — the Bears, 49ers and Falcons — that have requested interviews with him.

Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers declined to coach in this year’s Senior Bowl, which is largely viewed as an advantage for team, as they get to work directly with some of next’s prospects.

PewterReport.com mentions that this could be an indication that more changes than just offensive coordinator are coming for the Buccaneers next season.

Cardinals

  • Cardinals signed TE Ted Bolser to their practice squad.
  • Cardinals placed TE Andre Hardy on the practice squad injured list.

Chargers

  • Veteran OLB Dwight Freeney said after the Chargers loss to the Chiefs that he wanted to take some time before deciding if he’ll return next season.

“I’m never big on making choices or big-time decisions after losses or wins because you’re too emotional,” Freeney said, via Eric D. Williams of ESPN. “You want to kind of take that emotion out of it, sit down and think about what you really want to do with the rest of your life and your career, and really figure out what that next step is. I’ve got to give it time.”
