Adrian Peterson

• Pro Football Talk is reporting that there has been no settlement in Adrian Peterson‘s appeal, and the hearing has resumed.

Broncos

• Rookie WR Cody Latimer left Thursday’s practice with concussion-like symptoms. (Andrew Mason)

Panthers

• HC Ron Rivera said that they have all but ruled out RB DeAngelo Williams and G Amini Silatolu for Week 14’s game against the Saints. (David Newton)

Texans

Andre Johnson said that he wants to play 15 seasons in the NFL and is hoping that all of them are with the Houston Texans.

“I don’t want to play for nobody else,” Johnson said, via Dale Robertson of the Houston Chronicle. “I’ve been here for 12 years. I don’t think it would feel right. I’ve seen everybody come and go in this locker room … I’ve seen it all. [My] locker has been here the longest. I can’t imagine how it would feel to put on someone else’s uniform so hopefully …. You always want it to turn out OK. I want things to work out here.”

Vikings

• OC Norv Turner acknowledge that WR Cordarrelle Patterson has been benched in favor of Charles Johnson.

“I expect Cordarrelle to play, and play like he has,” Turner said, via Matt Vensel of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. “But you know, C.J. is playing at a high level. C.J. is the starter at (the split end receiver position). That’s the position that Cordarrelle plays. We’ll give him some opportunities to play there, but C.J. is playing at a real high level right now.“
