Ian Rapoport reports that today is the first day that Vikings RB Adrian Peterson can be reinstated by the NFL.
- However, Rapoport mentions that few expect anything definitive to actually happen today.
- According to Rapoport, the earliest Peterson’s case can be heard in the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals is October.
- Once Peterson is reinstated, the expectation is that he will not receive a suspension from the league, per Rapoport.
- No surprise, but Rapoport does not expect Peterson to show up for the Vikings’ voluntary workouts.
